Valk vs cap sam, what am I missing?

I've been watching some guides on showcase and they all recommended Valk for this fight, but I played her normally(only into block) and got random bursts of damage. Can anyone explain where I went wrong?

Idk why anyone would recommend valk for cap falcon fight but you need armour break champions for both of them, omega sentinel and cap

Galan works for both OS & Cap Sam. Sam fight can be a bit tricky, but for me, Galan melted him in 2 full harvest

Valk absolutely works for cap Sam. But for that you want to make sure you are not hitting him directly like ever, cos that can trigger armour on cap. If you play only by hitting cap on his block then the fight is easily doable. Main issue after current update is that the opponent in their corner they don’t block a lot like they normally used to do. They keep themselves open up, this causes hitting them directly on their face. Playing Valkyrie after current ai update has been a mess.
Note: I used valk for this fight on 2 accounts and both were easy solo.
