REAL EVENT? Kabam tripping!!!

And realize the ACTUAL USER BASE!!! Too much “meta” bs that shorts actual players. Points needed to get all milestones are stupid high 2 events in a row?!?!

we are on track to hit and surpass the 1 bil milestone even excluding the stark donation. How was that not a realistic goal?

crystal cleanup sure, but it was a test run, the rewards were intentionally meh, and they gave use all the rewards anyway.

How could they do that , that's the first time we are seeing this kind of event , kabam already said they will do things different in the future , only way to learn is by trying is not their fault for having faith on us to hit those milestones ,
Is mostly a community problem people are used to just play PVE and enjoy it the most ,and when we have to play bgs and they see there's people with better rosters and better skills they just give up and don't want nothing to do with bgs , not even if it means good rewards for just playing .
Those numbers are very realistic, but the lack of interest from the player base just held us at such low numbers.

- it's 10th anniversary so kabam wants more players to play
- realm event makes many players to play(ticket in 48hr objective)
- more game engagement
- we are actually doing good as GC gives double the points for a win compared to VT + Stark Foundation will cover the rest to reach last milestone.
- kabam doesn't want any event to fail on the game 10th anniversary year.
- they have probably planned the Nov offers to be crazy good

why are people so entitled? they set a goal and if we don't play enough that's on us. it's not an insult and they're not out of touch.

I'm look at it as the realm events have two goals - the initial goal, and then the stretch goal. That's how they seemed to want to set it up with the first realm event as Road to the Crypt Rewards with the death count.

If you remember, they set the initial rewards as follow:

Once we hit that target (or was on the projection path to hit it - I can't remember) they then changed it to every million deaths gave 1000 titan shards. The shards were way less value than the original max milestone, and were tacked on just as something extra beyond the original scope.

Or at least that's how I see it. We don't need to hit every milestone because, while nice, they may have been out there to not discourage Paul after all milestones of the original goal have been meet.

maximum rewards should require effort.
plain and simple.
the idea is not to get stuff for doing just as you normally would.
the idea is to get players to do more than they normally would and push for bigger rewards.

Would love to see if OP has reached the 5K point. I just got there yesterday and have over 2k in elder marks to use up. Only a small portion of my alliance mates are over 5k but most are getting close and I know will push for it in the coming days. I hope OP is doing their part and not just one of those complainers that also wants individual donations to reach the 5 k points mark.

This is the third time they have done an event like this [Though the first one was a year ago at this point], of course the balancing isn't gonna be perfect.

Though from the Crystal Opening one last month to this, there is a massive improvement. Give it 2-3 more tries and they will have figured it out.

Over several threads, plus YouTube, and talking to many (many ppl). The BG 1.5bil was pretty stupid high, and most are tired and getting burned out from BG. “Don’t have to play”. Always what ppl say to defend the ineptitude of Kabam!!!! Goals were set, ppl try to reach. We will never reach 1.5bil. Again Kabam waaay over figuring what could even possibly happen (they see who plays and how often, they knew it wouldn’t happen). 1bil, yeah we got this. Without a stupid “stark drop” or whatever?? Even that was questionable!!

With ALL OF THIS ENDLESD INFO, they basically decided that (guessing) 60-70% of players needed to atleast double their BG play for 1.5bil (all milestones). At the same time, they keep saying they don’t want players to get “burnt out” playing because of the grind necessary. Yet they keep asking that for max milestones they know dam well won’t get hit.

I don’t come to the forums for intelligent discourse, but this thread is particularly moronic. If I’m understanding you correctly, you would be happier if the milestones beyond 1BN just didn’t exist?

If you look at the distribution of rewards over the milestones, do you notice how the most desirable stuff is in the 700M-1BN range and then they taper off after the full titan crystal? That’s because they are stretch goals, or bonus milestones, however you want to think about them. If Kabam really wanted or expected us to hit 1.5BN, the best rewards would be there.

Honestly, I don't think that thet expected us to reach it. If you remember the first realm-like event (necropolis deaths), they added those extra titan shards in so people wouldn't feel bad or what not about dying even though the death goal had already been reached. They could also just stop rewards for the realm events after hitting the big/main prize - in this case, the titan crystal.

The specifics of the carrot being dangled are largely irrelevant. Their concern is matching or exceeding player engagement metrics vs q4 2023, or Year over Year, where last year the engagement was Necropolis and the Valiant title. The revenue element will come shortly. Of course they have all the rudimentary data on accounts, it's why moving the goal posts ("Stark donation") spurred accounts (the casuals doing the minimum) to engage more to keep up with the shifting rewards milestones.

Everyone has their own hours of engagement = x potential revenue calcs. They've ramped up engagement a good amount over baseline, so hard feelings aside from the player base, a success it seems.

I get that, and honestly kinda makes sense. Idk if that’s it, but I can see that. Still stupidly unreachable goal, and they knew that to start (1 of my main issues). If/when u set a goal too far/too hard???? Most that could help??? They WILL NOT!!!!! It’s too far for them, so they feel NO need to help contribute. Needs to be within reason for atleast 80% of players for us to get whatever it is. Kabam knows dam well 1/2 accounts in this game aren’t even active anymore (their own fault for loading/ai issues/100 other broken game issues). So increase play from tired players to what end??? Quit next month or month after?? Nobody wins that way!!!

So you didn't like the Road to the Crypt reward structure then at all. That was completely unreachable, but I didn't hear anyone complain about it.
