SoS Finale Left Path with Suicides?

PolygonPolygon Member Posts: 4,505 ★★★★★
Anyone done it with recoils? Planning a science/skill/tech with no saga champs if anyone done a similar set up

Was going to use FAM for Adam since you need to have buffs (my nimrod is only r4)

Aside from that, I'm bringing Chee'ilth since shes great for iDoom and Moleman

Photon is the bigger concern since she turns wp off and suicides will hurt. I'm considering Kingpin since he can convert the suicides debuffs at 8 debuffs total. Tried with cheel and photons debuffs get cleansed instead of the bleed and poison.

I also have xbones and bullseye if i dont use KP. Alternatively could still use Chee'ilth and just bring Spider Ham for moleman instead.

Chee'ilth specifically can't remove Recoil Masteries. It says that's intentional, in her Spotlight.

I don't run them, but a friend of mine does: any suggestions, @Moosetiptronic ?

Running suicides against Photon will be big problem without immunity champ

Kingpin is very bad against photon since he is petrify immune so you can't really manage your power.

It is better to change masterylayouts for photon as it can save you more resources actually.

With FAM, I understand u mostly need to intercept or get hit to gain armor faster. Problem is against that Adam SOS fight, intercepting removes all of your buffs. I'm wondering if that is a wise choice bro

It only removes non armor up buffs

Keep in mind you need two 7* champs for the left. If you bring FAM, then Kingpin is out no matter what, and the same the other way around.

Yes, I did both paths with suicides on. Left path, I used R2 venom, 5/65 herc and R3 onslaught. 15% attack, 20% health and 20% green boosts.

Adam with venom (thank you mcoc noob), had to restart a few times, but he's very good for him.

Herc for photon. Just full herc it, again, mcoc noob has a vid doing the same thing. You may need a 20% revive here, I did.

Moleman with onslaught was a long fight, compared to the right path, when I used spiderham, who makes that fight a cinch. I didn't have any other 7* that fit the bill except for deathless guillotine, although again, venom can do it. Because I wanted herc, for herc things :-)

Ah unfortunately i did the right side with mutant mystic cosmic already so im looking at science skill and tech only, thanks for your write up though, it could help others too.

Nick136 who was also running recoils used hulk whos only partially immune, i havent looked at his stream though but i assume his hulk is r3. Though if hes good i can just heavily boost up and use my r2 over someone like Chee'ilth/xbones/bullseye

@Polygon I did think about running science, skill, tech on the left side. Buffed up being needed for Adam is a challenge that I could not get my head around, as I've only an unduped Crossbones that was viable, unless I was going to try fantman. I've no levelled red skull.

Have you tried fantman on him, yet?

Photon is also a bit of a pain with that set, but I'm guessing Spiderham would, again, be awesome, but you'd need to switch off suicides. Which may be necessary. And Spiderham is the best option, in my view, for moleman, so if you have him as a 7*, take him. He's also surprisingly good for infamous.

@Moosetiptronic big thanks for the red skull suggestion, i got him down to 22% after struggling to do more than 50% in 1 run with xbones, i found a way to punish all his sp2's even if i dont have a special ready. the only thing annoying is that he gets power very fast (bait 1 sp2 and hes already at another). probably the power alternator node.

Is Spider Ham better for Moleman than Chee'lith? If its not a big difference, I can stick to Chee'l and that'll let me have a backup for Photon like Crossbones as opposed to the team with red skull and spam

I can only vouch for my runs, but the thing about Spiderham, is the 350% bonus damage when moleman throws a special. The power sting does unreal amounts of damage and he's often not shrugged them even in his shrug phase, if he throws one immediately after you crit your last hit. Plus spam's rate of debuff output means he's very quick to push into frenzy and I get him down in one revive even if I play like a scrub. Which I do.

It's also a very fast fight. Cheelith is 4 times the fight length.

But... Even an usually unlucky, 6 minute moleman fight is probably easier than any photon fight, so it may depend on which one is least palatable.
