Should all champion crystals be changed to selectors? 🤔

I think due to the increased number of champions in the game, I think we're past the 250 mark at this point, all the champion crystals should be selectors crystals. I think it's only fair since we're at a point now where your chances of getting specific character have become a 1 in 250 chance unless you're opening a featured crystal then the pool is smaller. There's nothing worse than completing a piece of everest or even SOS level content to then get a Groot or VTD. I don't see why we can't at least have 3 options so we're given a better chance at getting someone decent after grinding through content.

The RNG is a factor of the game and one that is quite important to Kabam’s business model I’d imagine. Also nexus crystals are a prize in their own right, already attributed to content that matches that level of challenge.

Although I’d love to have an increased chance to have the best champs, it would make having them a bit meaningless.

Like two titans I’ve duped Nova, it made it much the feeling much better when I pulled this saucepot from my last titan.

Would you agree to the selector being on general crystals with a wider pool of champions. So i.e. the basic 7* crystal having a selector but not the titan since the pool is very small and chances of getting the desired champions are greater?

that would flood the game with great attackers so they'd take a big loss on say featured crystals and would have to make up for it somehow by increasing cost of unit based crystals or reducing shard supply.

i think they're already dealing with the roster size problem by designing content that values roster width more than ever like AW, sagas, and EQ (class and tag based).

I don't think the selector is necessary on Featured crystals, I'd say more so on the general crystals that have large pools of champions.

Not a nexus, but maybe old champs like blade etc. I think the problem isn’t with the chances, it’s with the decisions for who is in the pool.

they would probably just delete the bad characters from the game, instead of keeping in crystals/game and watching no one picking or using them ever.

Adding this would only be beneficial to the player base yet most vote no. Only way you vote no to something that is beneficial to players is if you're working for Kabam.

Not Nexus, that's too much. Just a normal selector that gives you 3 options. The normal 7* crystal already has 150 champions in the pool, that's a 1 in 150 chance. Think having an option of 3 of the 150 is fair enough.

Yay lets make all 7* crystals selectors.. So we can see everything filled with max sig serpents and enchantress, lets let them pick the flavour of the season so no one has to work on building a roster, you just get a crystal, select and win.
Its a no cause what you are asking is the exact contrary of a gacha game.

No one said use it for the featured. I think your math needs attention. 150 champions are in the basic 7* pool, giving players 3 options of the 150 is hardly game breaking or going to cause rosters to suddenly grow rapidly, accounts will grow but not as fast as you seem to think. But funny to see that you're fine with pay to win but play to win is a "stupid" idea? People with sig 200 7*s pay for their accounts to be that way and you're fine with it. if anything, adding this feature evens the playing field with spenders and FTP. Spenders should always have the advantage right because pay to win > play to win?

I think you should get more familiar with the game then.
There is already Nexus Crystals, there is also class selectors, abyss nexus and so on.
I guess you are talking about 6*s cause there is not 250 champs in the 7* basic pool.

There is enough great champs in the pool, so tripling the chance of pulling a top-tier champ would be unhealthy for the game.

Also by the same logic, why is it terrible to pull VtD from SOS crystal and acceptable to pull a 7* Hulk from a random Paragon crystal? Both are equally unearnt

Your point earlier was saying that the game would be unbalanced if all the players had good rosters? that's the complete opposite of unbalanced, if everybody had huge rosters skill would be the deciding factor, not who spent most of their daddies credit card on units and offers. Balanced and fair is when skill is the deciding factor.

Some champions require awakening and high sig to be viable. Why should someone wait 2 years before their 7 star Namor is viable at sig 200?

The poll exposed hypocrisy. Spending to get massive accounts is morally correct and encouraged, playing through content skillfully however is frowned upon because we're "leeches".

My point is clear, its a gacha game, it takes time to develope a roster. You made a previous statement about taking 2 years to make Namor useful... Well if you expect to pull him 10 times yeah, but there are AGs and Sig stones... There are people with max sig Angela's... didn't take them 2 years...
There is one guy with a max sig CMM, that definetly didn't take him 2 years...

The only reason why tou have a game to play and enjoy is those credit cards... If everything is given the way you expect there would be no reason for spendrers to spend. Should kabam try to pay bills by units farmed in Arena or should they introduce advertisement in-game where every time you click on
1. Crystals to open there's ad
2. Everytime you enter war, there's ad
3. Everytime you finish round in Arena, there's ad
4. Everytime you finish BG round, there's ad.
