Crystal Cornucopia?

One of my alliance mates was talking about a crystal cornucopia of some sort. Anyone know what/when this is or if it’s happening. Should I be hoarding my crystals? I hadn’t heard anything about something of the sort so I wanted to double check and make sure I wasn’t tripping
