How to get stars on forums?

I've seen a lot of people have multiple stars next to their name on forums, how does that happen?

Accumulated points from the “Reactions” people give you on your posts/comments.
(or, aka, how much time you waste, I mean spend, up here on Forums, lol)

Or how much helpful advice you give out (which may earn positive's)

But making too many posts may not help, if people see you’re making several each day they may respond less to them.

You earn points based on reactions to your posts. You get one point each for every insightful, agree, like and awesome. I don't remember all the ranks, but I am pretty sure you get a second star at 500 points, and I am pretty sure 5 stars is at 3k points. But it's been a minute since I was there so I can't recall for certain.

Chasing points to get star probably won't work out though. Just be a contributor to the conversations at hand and you'll progress over time.
