I only clocked about 5100 points and haven't got anything yet so I figured I'd missed the cut, but someone in my alliance who scored less than that said they got theirs. Just gotta be patient I guess...

You might not have put in enough points. 5k might not have been enough

How many points did you put up? I did 6200 and got 2k/5k. Telling you this to say, don't get your hopes up on the idea of over 10k shards.
