Variant characters

With how deathless champs work how likely do you think hypothetically if the game lasted for another, let's say 20 years, do you think you could have a full battlegrounds deck full of essentially the same champ?

You can get pretty far with Spider-Man characters and variants as it is.

There are still a whole pile of Marvel Comics and MCU characters that haven't come about yet, not to mention the odd MCoC-Original characters.

Just going through the MCU movies, we still haven't got:

- Iron Monger
- Whiplash / Crimson Dynamo
- Warriors 3 / Sif
- Mandarin / Extremis
- Malekith
- Batroc The Leaper
- The Ancient One
- Ego
- Various other members of Yondu's crew (e.g. Tazerface)
- Surtur
- M'Baku / Man Ape
- Ulysses Klaue
- Eitri
- Goliath
- Yon-Rogg
- Yelena Bolova
- Xu Xialing (Shang Chi's sister) (inspired from multiple characters, particularly Zheng Bao Yu)
- Xu Wenwu (Shang Chi's Father) / The Mandarin
- The rest of the Eternals other than Ikaris and Sersi
- "Defenders" Dr Strange (the costume/inspiration of the variant at the start of MoM)
- Zeus (and Ares for that matter...)
- "Swole" Groot (from GotG3)
- Ms Marvel / Kamala Khan (MCU Variant - more light-based powers rather than just the OG comics "Embiggen")

Not to mention from the TV shows.

Then plenty of other variants of characters from comics arcs - just with Spider-Man I immediately think of 2 of his stints with the Fantastic Four - you have the Future Foundation run, and then the ridiculous "Bag-Man"
