Super Daily Event details

Just curious if the rewards for the SDE will be the same as the last time or will they be nerfed?

Do we have any details yet or do we know when those details will be shared?

Loving the reveals so far. 60fps is amazing!!!

It's definitely been nerfed. I really don't mind even if they give 1 gold. I just want to get rid of the current event and solo objective schedule.
"Definitely" is a super strong word - it's also an incorrect word, in this case

The Daily Super Event will launch exactly the same as it was a few months ago

So, unless I am missing something... we no longer have anywhere other than 3 day events to get the energy refills right?
I'm used to getting several free ones a week from the 4hr crystals and not getting those means my time in game will drastically decrease - which isnt a bad thing for me personally, but I assume not the outcome kabam want.

Also - the 5k 7* shards / 7* champs that you could get from dailys is now null?

seems like a massive downgrade just for those 2 things alone not to mention anything else

As far as the 4h crystals are concerned, you get 4 per day from the SDE. So a couple less if you're someone that obsessively logs in every four hours, but still available.
The removal of the daily crystal (aside from the market) is silly. The upside on a single crystal is worth more than an entire day (or several days) of rewards, so I do agree with you there. In many ways this is an upgrade that not only allows players to play less, but will in some cases push players to play less. It's a win for many, not for all, but that's the nature of the beast with any QoL improvement.

You're right... I had completley missed the 4 x 4hr crystals in the SDE - that makes more sense now, although the daily crystal being removed still fells like a loss to me

I don’t know what kind of luck you have but in over more than a year’s worth of Daily crystals I’ve never pulled a straight up 7-star. I can probably also count on one hand the amount of times I’ve pulled 5k 7-star shards from the Daily crystals.

In the past 10 days worth of 2x Daily crystals (1 crystal is additional from the webstore), I’ve pulled fragments of T6b, T3a, T6cc, and whole T5cc. In the next 10 days of Daily super event, I will end up with 7500 7-star shards.

So no, it is not a downgrade in terms of 7-stars unless your RNG is an outlier.

You can still get 1 daily crystal from the summoners store so you are only losing 1 a day from inside the game

You can still get a daily from the store . And you get 4 free crystals from DSE anyway. Which is much easier than logging in every 4 hrs 6 times daily. And if you were to sleep 8 hours or have other work, you get less.

The daily crystal is garbage anyway. I’m cavalier and my daily crystal used to give me about 7000 tier 4 basic fragments. Just not needed whatsoever

Very different as you move up. Valiants can get full 7* champs (I've done it once), 5k 7* shards (done that several times) and form full t6b, t3a and t6cc catalysts instead of just portions of them. While the SDE brings consistency and brings up the basement a bit, the loss of one daily crystal brings the ceiling way down.

I like the sde but removing the daily crystal and the weekly paragon crystals for valiant is a big mistake. I hope they bring these back.

Many objectives have been retired in favour of the SDE. While the rewards aren't an exact match they are better than the old events in most cases. See here for what has changed - https://playcontestofchampions.com/news/daily-super-event-2/

… are part of the Super Event and that is why I think I should see a new Login Crytal, 7 Hour Solo Event Milestones, etc. But I do not see them ingame. The old steady crysrals are gone, but nothing new appear?

You only get 4hr crystals from the new event, all those old rewards are combined and improved. You can still get daily crystal from webstore

You can now login to summoners market daily for that crystal!

As for logging in every 4 hrs, I’m glad that is no longer being encouraged, daily is often enough I feel.
