I tested 3 champions in 4-star max rank including her, white tiger and chavez.
They all pretty much performed the same time against 5-star Rank 5 max sig Serpent.

Chavez is an incredible champ as is WT. If she can match Chavez, then Spiral is pretty solid.

Chavez is one of the top mystic nukes, if she can keep up with her she's top tier as well

It's more along the lines of where number of classes used isn't as important as it used to be as now there's so many champs in game and many that cover the same grounds. More so to the point of just who does what better.

Kabam can’t keep pushing the power level up with every new champ. Obviously there’s been room to go higher with a lot of the new releases, but I’m personally quite happy that not every mystic released since Chavez is empirically better than her and an automatic replacement for her. If Spiral is on par with the top tiers like White Tiger and Chavez then that seems like a great place for her to be in. She’ll find a way to justify her inclusion over the others with her unique tools and matchup spread instead of just being straight up better, which I think is a healthy approach.

You don't have to. There is no reason for any player with r3 kush, chavez and wiger to rank up spiral unless they enjoy her, since all cover similar matchups.

She's not the worst defender, but after she throws a special she activates her blades, they stun you if you do MLL combos so stick to MLM or MM combos. Other than that she's pretty simple

They deal it different ways.

Kushala can reduce power gain and can heal from specials, shut down his regen.
Chavez can reverse his power gain.
Wiger gains 50% of all power her opponent gains and can power steal from specials.

but only Spiral can directly remove Serpent's death immunity with her destroy (besides Black Widow CV)

Depends on who you like using, you don't have to fill your deck with mystics if you don't want to

I'm not talking about his power gains. I'm talking about removing his Death Immunity.
