Does anyone know why Cheeilth and Zeno’s cleanse seem to work differently? Zemo can cleanse the bleed and poison from recoils at the start of the fight but Cheeilth won’t with her cleanse?

Because the debuffs apply before the cleanse with Chee'Ilth?

Just how it is. Zemo “enters the fight” with his cleanses active, as seen by the fact that while he’s running up to the opponent before you can even input anything the cleanses are already on the HUD. Chee’ilth gains her cleanses “at the start of the fight”, and they trigger as soon as you can start inputting things alongside the recoil debuffs. Kabam just decided that those cleanses trigger just after the recoil masteries in the order of operations so she can’t cleanse them. Zemo very clearly has the cleanses before the recoil debuffs, so he gets to purify them.

And if you’re hoping that Chee’ilth’s case is a bug that they’ll perhaps fix, unfortunately that’s not the case. Her champion spotlight makes an explicit note that her cleanses don’t work on debuffs that trigger on fight start, so it’s clearly an intentional thing.

Actually zemos cleanse work against recoils, cheelith onw doesn't. Kabam intentionally made it this way as they don't cheelith to be a recoil friendly champ for some reason. This is clearly mentioned in spotlight but not in game description they should mention it in ingame description as well.

They probably didn't want Chee'ilth To be recoil friendly because you can ignore her specials and still get great damage if you don't need any of her utility from them.

I have seen her cleanse recoil debuffs with this synergy in the past. But I don't know if thats a bug, or if it's fixed or not.
But she definitely removed them, but only with synergy.

I just tested the synergy but it doesn’t seem to work, must’ve been a bug that got fixed.
