Beta Ray Bill

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see anyone really using him anymore. Maybe plenty do and I just don't see it, but thoughts on why he's not used as much? Is he looked at as just a long form champ?

Yeah his shock depends on rng He is like domino. If things work in his favour he nukes but if not, he'll be a mid attacker in short fights.

I’ve seen maybe 2 people use him in bgs over 100 matches, he’s mid, that’s that.

Mid or not, the most recent BG metas have been very unfriendly to him. Crit me basically neuters his damage, he's not a tactic attacker or a defender at all, and the current GC node he will lose his buffs on specials so there goes his damage again. My guess is there will be some node in the future where he is god like (armor causes glancing or something like that) and otherwise he will be a niche counter not many will run.

I’m not surprised about him when they sold him for only $25 lol. Look at the current offer, hyperion cost 9500u, which around 300$

I think its a combo of bad BG metas for him and that until he’s awakened you wont get the full potential out of him.

It's not really rng, the shocks he has a chance to apply are almost meaningless compared to the shocks on his sp2 which are guaranteed

The basic shocks are still important if you want max damage in a single rotation

I doubt it personally. He's better than other champs that did not get rebalanced. But in general I am terrible at guessing what kabam will do, so who knows?

He has his matchups. However somethings missing for shorter fights, I’m probably removing him from my BG’s deck soon, I don’t use him at all, no value on defence and too slow for bg’s.

He definitely won’t get re-balanced, but oh well.
