"It" as in, the 24h grace period to finish the take on Summer of Suffering or other similar timed content, where all of the rewards are outside of the quest itself and are not prolonged together with it.

I planned it. I used a lot of resources. I had to spend two hours in my bank trying to stop a scammer halfway over the world from breaking into my credit card. I finished the round about five minutes after reset - and thanks to that policy feels like I might as well have been scammed anyway.

It makes sense in content that includes the prize but honestly, I'd rather be kicked out of the quest than lose more time and currency for literally nothing.

The 24h grace period is not specific to this quest. Other quests that have rewards inside them do grant rewards when the grace period is used for the final path. In this case it doesn’t help as rewards are in objectives that are not extended.

Bro, you need to calm down. You knew how long you had to complete the milestones, if kabam added an extra 24 hours to them, then people would be flocking forums that they had a whole extra day showing on their objectives and then the quest disappeared a day early.

You can always try to contact kabam support and ask if you can get the points added to your event, but i wouldn't hold my breath. Also drop the attitude before you talk to them. Be respectful and you will be treated with respect

It's an ancient default design, quests used to contain all the rewards until Kabam wanted to give rewards based on restricted champions usage
You want that reward, look at that reward timer

honestly the event timer is separate?

the quest timer is built in, and impacts EQ content, up to Paragon Gauntlet and down to the daily t1Basic map. that timer is how they set the rules for “completion” of a “quest” in game. specifically for the map rewards.

event timer is always “x thing y way within x timeframe”.

it’s a natural leap “that I have x bonus completion time for a map, so that carries tot he event”, but it’s a leap.

There's no way of designing the Objectives themselves to have an extended 24 hours *ONLY* if you are inside a running quest.

And conversely, if you want the Objectives themselves to ALWAYS have an extra 24 hours to them, BEYOND when the normal quest expiration would be.
Well, then people would see the later Objective Timer (even if NOT in the quest before expiration), and assume they can still GET INTO the quest to do it.
**there would be just as much complaining, if not more, if this was the way they did it.

It's not a design oversight, it's your fault for not being able to do it in time.
And don't me give me that "I gOt a liFe" bs to me, it doesn't sound nearly as cool as you think it does. Everyone's got a life , I miss out on important stuff from time to time but I take the L and don't act like a cry baby on the forums because I understand it's my fault and not the designer's.
I don't mind losing on those things because my priorities in life lie elsewhere, so stop making dumb arguments and move on
