Long time in alliance & looking for change. Alliance waiting period? Other considerations?

I have been w the same alliance for years and am looking for a change. I'm having a hard time finding solid info and hope someone can help
1) how long is the waiting period before you can collect aw/aq rewards and alliance milestone rewards?
2) does leaving and rejoining affect solo objectives or progress in bg or anything else in ANY way?
3) is there anything else I should consider before leaving? I want to make sure I am in place to contribute/collect during banquet crystal time but I also want to time it well.

You have to wait 24 hours before you can participate in AQ except when it is a raid week in which case you need to be in the alliance at least 24 hours before it starts. Once able to participate, you still need to participate in it.

For AW you have to participate in 5 season wars to get season rewards.

Banquet starts December 20th every year, so if you're in an alliance before December 6th, you're fine.

Leaving and rejoining does affect milestones. In BGs you can't participate for a week and every milestone the alliance reaches without you, you won't be able to claim.

And in particular, because many, many people have been asking about the following the last couple months, especially during the Realm associated events that were ALLIANCE EVENTS.
Milestones that the Alliance had already reached prior to your joining, will NOT be able to be claimed by you. Even if you had not claimed that particular milestone elsewhere before, and even in the new alliance once you reach your Individual Point requirement, if the Ally had already reached that before you joining.
