Is spider punk worth ranking up

Just finished act 5 and pulled 5* science ag from crystal
I have no good science champion the only good one is spider punk

So is he worth ranking up and using awakening gem

Will he help me in act 6

He will help you in Act 6 because the only champion that has rupture immunity/reduction from my knowledge is Silk reducing the time, Scorpion with something and Lady D whilst Nanobots regeneration is active, and high sig Angela not including passives.

People don’t like it when I say this, but I firmly believe his awakened ability is necessary, the control is insane with Spunk as soon as you get into the flow, and fights are much faster with him due to the increased damage.

That evade-stun is also extremely beneficial, and there shouldn’t really be anyone in Act 6 with rupture immunity, it is a physical damage dot so certain champs will have physical damage.

Spider Punk is worth it as you’re on the road to Cav Im assuming, so 7* aren’t gonna be a priority for ya. Pretty sure I have maxxed doom, Hulkling, Bullseye, Shang Chi (conveniently pulled and duped my 7* chi later on lol) and Shuri. 5* are relevant but you’ll transition into 6* soon.

Isn't 6* acquiring super fast these days?
Don't waste resources on 5* and just do sidequests and try to do story quest as much you can.

Spiderpunk doesn't have anything unique to offer and 5* are absolute duds.
