IN what universe are Hyperion and Xbones not quality champs? Angela bad?

it is based on the year the champs were released so the ones you mentioned may or may not be offered up until later into this chrono event. next week they will offer 2018 champs to be used with that week's chrono quest

9500 units (more than 3 Odin bundles) for a 7* champion, that is a huge amount. I am curious about how high the sales are.

The only champion (among the « old » champions in the Basic, Loyalty and Incursions crystals) that could make me hesitating is Warlock. For half the price, no hesitation.
Of course, I would hesitate for some recent specific champions (Enchantress…).

Also some wish for the next Banquet 7* batch.

absolutely this. so, for 9.5K (way too much, IMO), they offer two champs that coincide with the year of the Chrono SQ. if you NEED.
and, to be fair, Blade was awesome in 2018. not 9.5K awesome, but if your Titan pull failed, now’s your chance to use that unranked 7*. o)
also, since the Chrono event stops at ‘19, I would not plan on seeing Serp, QS, or mystic mommie.
