This is the worst victory track meta yet

For the last 4 seasons I've gotten into the GC, but I'm stuck in vibranium 2. I can't count the number of perfectly played fights I've been screwed out of because of the asinine random miss mechanic they added. I can't wait until this season is over. I miss the types of metas they had when BGs first began.

I think the concept of tactic attackers is lost on many players in VT. I sailed through to GC (faster than ideal, honestly). I did the same thing in all the matches — ban their best tactic attackers and then drafted almost exclusively tactic defenders. Works like a charm.

The GC is the worst this season, only played 1 match. We both ended up geting killed with less than 15k points, in both matches, and got to spam Loki and GG emojies 🥳

I agree with that. I can understand the logic that players can use rank-ups in both game modes but that benefit is not enough to cancel out the tedium of playing a poorly designed meta twice as much.

Apart from the odd few, I personally think this has been the weakest pool of Saga champions, so that doesn’t help either, I’m not kidding when I say I haven’t got a single ranked up Saga champion excluding Kushala and Bishop, the better ones I don’t own, plus I don’t like ranking up certain champs for a certain event just to never be touched again, resources are important to me.

Even with the tactic attackers, I'm constantly getting random misses and being punished for it. They need to stop trying to translate the AW tactics to BGs, it's just lazy and doesn't translate well.

Read the nodes and then decide whether it is the worst VT meta or not.

You counter miss by inflicting heal block. To apply heal block, you have to apply 5 non stun debuffs.

Some Tactic attackers apply debuffs as part of their normal rotation, while others you have to focus on parries to apply debuffs from the node. Shocker is supposedly a Tactic attacker, but if you play him normally (not really doing parries), then you’re not gonna inflict 5 debuffs to be able to counter the Tactic defenders. Even Shuri doesn’t work as well once you get going and are only inflicting passive shocks.

This VT meta is fine. The worst one imo is the one where matches typically resulted in each player scoring <15k on average and players were just pausing instead of trying.

Me not even realizing there was a miss mechanic because I use almost exclusively tactic attackers and defenders in my deck this season.

For me it's been incredibly easy through VT this season. The reason is because most folks I've been running into are not utilizing the tactic champs.

If you have the roster to modify your deck to suit this tactic, your experience will surely improve.
