Yep. It's a dumb strategy and doesn't fit within the spirit of the contest, but Kabam has said that they don't consider it to be cheating.

This is also why they have the forum rules of blotting out names. Because people accuse others of cheating when in fact they aren't cheating.

Oh, it's just one of the two working strategies how to act when you're matched against a stronger opponent: to pause the game and wait for your opponent to explode with anger because he had to wait for two minutes

Another valid strategy btw is to post something about unfair matchmaking in the forum

The user is just being salty nothing else.
They want to waste time of thier opponent,
While wasting their own time.

I don't blame them for being salty over mismatched deck size. Steeping down to this strategy makes this cringey.

I don't play on my alt much but I faced few of these cases there. Guess what, I was tired and I dozed off mid round while waiting in one of these fights lol.

Well in GC plenty are indeed pausing. But that's different thing.
