Mcoc on steam or pc?

Frankly I don't know anything about this so I'm really asking ya'll for help. I play mcoc on my phone and when I heard there would be a pc version I was excited. I only have a mac so I downloaded and created a steam acount.

But they said today that it's not availible on Mac. But If I get steam on mac why wouldn't it work?

    Tech architecture. Mac is a completely different Operating System than Windows and even uses different hardware. Making your game able to run on Mac isn't as easy as flipping a switch and in general, some people don't think it is worth spending the time and resources to develop for Mac.

    If you do really want to play on your mac, then the only suggestion is to use bootcamp to convert the operating system on your mac to windows. I remember i had to do that when i wanted to play dcuo back in the day.

    I would say that most likely the effort would not be worth the reward tho.

    Its a whole diffrent os the good thing about steam is their program is ran on ubuntu but they to everything behind the scenes to make it available everywhere but mac just doesnt like that and they dont allow it on their os

    Ever looked into running Windows on your Mac? I'm not deeply familiar with it, but I have friends who've done it without issue (to run Windows-only games).

    There is a 100% chance that I'm gonna be playing MCOC on my TV with an Xbox controller when it becomes available.

    Steam is both the name of a platform (the Steam deck) and the name of a distribution network (aka Steam store). MCOC is being beta tested on the Windows platform, and being distributed by Steam. it doesn't run on the Steam platform itself (which is based on Linux).

    Many games available on Steam have both Mac and PC versions available, but not all do. That's up to the game developer to make such versions available.

    Macs does have some PC emulators that they can access Steam and get Mcoc...

    This will be against rules?

    I was a Mac user in an office years ago
