if i would like them to refund so that i can buy it from the web store / or have them add on the missing items, am i safe to make a selection on this screen? I wouldnt be actually opening the class crystal, just need to make a selection right now, otherwise i cant play the game with the prompt on the screen

Just open a ticket in the game, I adviced you to chose the class crystal, once you open the ticket said to kabam what happened and wait if they refound you the money, here you can't do anything so you have to chose one of the slectors o hope kabam refound you.

Yeah ive already made the ticket like 2 hours ago but havent done anything since. Debating just making a selection since i cant do anything else. Support might not even be working today.

I was mainly curious if anyone on forums was in similar situation

@SummonerNR do you happen to know if they can still refund purchases if you claim an item from a selector (just to be able to escape the selector prompt screen) but dont use the items? Or should i avoid picking anything making the selection entirely from my screenshot above?

The general rule is: if you do not use any of the stuff from the offer, they can take the items back and thus refund your units or cash. However, if you either use one of the items in an irreversible way - say, use a catalyst in a rank up - or open an RNG crystal and thus “see” what was inside of it - they will not reverse.

If it was me, I would pick either option and just don’t touch any rewards until you hear back from support. If you choose the crystal, just don’t open that crystal (or in the general case any crystal identical to it). If you choose the shards, just do not buy any 7* crystals with shards, even if you have plenty. Give them no reason to question reversing the deal.

I am not an official spokesperson for Kabam nor am I a support person for Kabam, but my understanding is that if you pick one of the two items from the selector, you are not getting anything that cannot be reversed. You are not using an item in an irreversible way, and you are not opening something that you don’t know what’s in it and thus gaining information before doing the refund. There’s no way to gain any sort of advantage, however small, since the selector tells you what you would get either way. So I think it is safe. But that’s my personal opinion only.

@DNA3000 i didnt have any plans to open anything or use any resources. I was mainly concerned because that odin deal has selectors built in. Besides the one in my screenshot, theres also a selector for ISO in that odin offer. Ill probably just pick a selection from the prompts as otherwise i wouldnt be able to do anything else in game till they reply to the ticket.

There's also the difference between a Selector to choose between FIXED things.
Versus a Champ Selector (aka Nexus) or similar, in which there is RNG involved in what comes up as the potential selections.

Any RNG based choices may not be able to be reversed, because you could do that, then not like the options you got, then ask for refund.

But your choices at top seem FIXED, so you should be fine to get it refunded (may take time, since it is weekend now)

Can they also reverse if i picked the wrong champ while using my awakening gem? i clicked on wrong champ and it was too late when i noticed what i did. i want to reverse “awakening” of the gem used.

Yes. Same conditions apply. DON'T USE THEM, ADD STUFF TO THEM, OR INCREASE THEM.
