Whaled But Purchased InGame…

No issues with the items I paid for. Noticed after the fact that the Webstore offers those Market Point Tokens as additional rewards for redemption. Are these tokens not available to me because I purchased in-game instead of the Webstore? Given the $$ I spent, it seems crazy to not be able to earn the points

I'll never understand this mentality that people have that because you spent "x" amount of dollars, it entitles you to something if you didn't follow directions.

Market points are for market purchases only. It's not like it's new. Same thing with the codes, you can only redeem them in the market. Normal purchases also have market points, which isn't new either.

It's like you want points for scoring baskets but you're only dribbling the ball.

Lol. Thanks (I think). If that’s the rule then that’s what I was hopin to understand. Seems strange that Buying deals in-game removes the ability to purchase those same deals in the Market. So clearly they’re counting and collecting information for having spent the money regardless of where it was purchased but whatever, I get it. Tryin to get people to buy on the Marketplace to avoid having to pay Apple/Google their transaction fees with token incentives makes sense. The basketball analogy doesn’t work though.

Limits are shared so that whales can't double dip on the offers, it has been this way all year. Take it as a learning experience to always check the webstore first if you want to spend money on the game.

That sucks, but as a rule of thumb you should always buy from the online store, since you always get more for your money. In this case not only more units but also the milestones. Especially when your in game store isn’t US dollar.
