Unsure who to focus on.

Recently I got a good amount of good characters, but I'm not sure who to focus on. I really like big numbers but I also appreciate the utility that can get me out of nasty situations in story and quests. Plus I got an awakening gem for a talent and a generic one. Keeping that in mind, who should I focus on?

    Kate Hulkling should be your priority

    Hulkling
    He can carry you until act 9
    If you have some skill with him you can pass 95% of act7 and 8
    There is at least 1 node in every quest which is beneficial to him or just makes him a tank there.
    And if hulkling can't do it for some reason, then Kate bishop lol.
    If even she can't do it, CGR can.
