Who to rank 3 if anyone?

I've got a rank 2 to 3 science gem and am debating to take up someone or to save it. If I take up someone I feel like Void is my best option but do you think it's better to just save it. Looking for advice.

I still use my 200 sig R5A Void, he’s usually not fast enough for BG.

But I would probably just wait for OG Hulk, Silk or Titania, if you haven’t already R3ed them.

Overseer, Negative, QS, Void, even Gwen and Spunk would be good options off the top of my head. Just depends on who will serve you the most.

I’d wait till after the banquet/anniversary event. You might get the buffed science champ and want to take them up. Otherwise you have a bunch of good options. Voids a great option, quicksilver is also a good dual threat. Luke cage is a monster on attack. Overseer and sandman are underrated but would also be solid R3s.

The only one of those that I have at r3 is Sandman, and I have absolutely no regrets about that.

I've only just begun to use Luke Cage but I'm liking what I'm seeing there (and I especially like what I've seen others do with him).

I really gotta rank up my Overseer someday. I remember using him for some side quest a while back and he just smoked it all on his lonesome. I really liked what I saw there.

To be honest, there is no 'best' - there are multiple very good options; but you need to consider your skills, playstyle and aspirations.

If you're a really skilled player with a focus on Battlegrounds, then Spot might well be your best option. Unless you want to Sig up Thing...
However: if you don't have the skill level to back it up, Spot may well be a bad choice for you.

If you've got some Skill and love to control the fight, then Void, Mister Negative and even Spider-Man are good options, although possibly if your focus isn't BGs.

If you love War and Questing, but maybe aren't the most skilled player, then actually either Sandman or Quicksilver might be your best option.

Luke Cage has versatility and damage; although would be better Awakened. However, his skill ask is almost negligible; so he's a fabulous choice for a less-adept player.

Overseer is hugely underrated - his damage burst potential is enormous; and he's got utility to boot. I took mine to r3 before Spot and Spam.

However, that may not be the right choice for you: my motivations were: I really like playing with him, I don't have the skill level for someone like Spot and I don't really enjoy Battlegrounds...
