Glancing vs Sinister Sp1 degen

Today i learned that sinister sp1 degen transfer is subjected to aar, and the degen is applied on the last hit and not at the start of the special. So with dust, you can parry the last hit and the glancing will stop the degen from applying to you.
Granted this is not really relevant since you will be rarely taking dust vs sinister but i wonder if other interactions are possible (e.g. Fam).
