Last 10 banquet tickets.

So we get last 10 tickets during accolades event. I have 85 tickets. I'll get 90 using store in 6 days. And for last 10, I'll rely on accolades event.
My main doubt is:
Is accolades event independent of banquet ticket. Like can we do the event and gain banquet tickets.
OR
Do we need to have banquet tokens to participate in accolades event. So do we need to spend the tickets to acquire tokens to complete accolades and then get remaining tickets.
