@kvirr Fr, there’s literally no benefit to spending units on a 1 star crystal. I’m sure you can’t even dupe 1 star champs anyway.

There are completionists out there, they're just not terribly present. Kabam also hasn't launched new 1* champs in a long time, so it's not an exciting crystal anyway.
It's real purpose is variant 4 because it is pretty much impossible to explore without a 1* Hulk. Of course when variant 4 was relevant they had a crystal with an 80% chance of a 2% and just 20% for a 1* for something like 100 units. Terrible. Why this crystal came out years after variant 4 became irrelevant is one of the great mysteries in life.

That 1 star crystal isnt useless since people that need 1s for the waxing moon or name of it is but moon knights eq as variant u need 1s and so this is actually incredibly helpful

Years ago, when Variant content was relevant, one of the paths had a major roadblock point if you didn’t have 1* Hulk. A lot of people had sold their 1* champs though, so they weren’t relevant. Since there was no way to get him easily, this got rolled out.

Not super relevant anymore, it’s definitely a relic of a different era of the game, but it’s a cool little bit of game history.
