I wouldn’t spend anything north of 10k on stuff for relics, doesn’t interest me.

Personally, I love relics stuff, I am even ready to by some odins for r3 gems (but unfortunately purchases are not available in my country). But in my opinion it’s too much. That’s almost a value of tokens, that get average celestial player during the season. So, once per 1.5 months celestial-level player can upgrade 1 relic to r3, if he will not spend tokens on resources to upgrade the deck. I don’t really believe that such player will stay active celestial for a long time, if he will live in such conditions.

Kabam just seems to routinely overprice relic stuff, and this is coming from someone who loves relics despite initial apprehension. They’re always treated as the highest and most valuable resource in stores and resource selectors and such despite the fact that they’re very neat but ultimately ignorable boosts at best. Besides a scant few combos that are particularly good, they just aren’t worth this much.

It’s especially frustrating because of the very minor detail that Kabam hasn’t touched relics for over a year now. No new relics, no updates to old ones, nothing. As someone who buys relics resources occasionally but doesn’t go out of her way to get them since they’re so expensive, I’m still quite literally running out of ways to use relic resources. Embers? Can’t use em because I can’t rank up relics that fast. Lower-tier rank up mats? Literally useless, I have every 3* and 4* relic at max rank, and most of my 5*s are close to max, so I genuinely can’t spend them on anything. At this point the massive prices just feel like a way to artificially extend the lifetime of relics, a way to kick the problem of relics being neglected down the road.
