Dashing back on its own in middle of combo

Is it a known bug that while you are in middle of your 5 hits light combo your character will dash backwards on its own? It’s almost like it goes into Auto. Sometimes it will dash backwards and then dash back forward on its own. With it doing that the defender gets me.

    Update, I meant to say this happens in War primarily.
