Proper IT Business Model

Dear Kabam,
I work in IT and know the struggles. Whether the outage is due to Network issues, Server problems, or Developer ignorance it always is tough to deal with.

I know it has been mentioned before about forming a beta program. This should be done 1st above everything. In my company everything gets tested in beta before going live. Hardware, and Software changes. A beta program should not conisist of IT personnal but high traffic users.

If it happens to be a bandwidth issue or server load. Change events around peak hours to reduce the load.

Just a thought.

This is exactly right.
Anyone with IT experience knows that anything going wrong can come from anywhere. And usually, not where it would appear to be coming from.
I've seen things work flawlessly all the way from development to acceptance, load tests and all, to then not work in production. Identical environments. Sometimes IT just likes to troll you... I must be a msochist..
