Homecoming Objectives Bug?

So I'm not sure if this is a bug or if this is how it's supposed to work, but I'm opening free crystals as part of the Homecoming: Collect objective and using the 'open 10' only counts as 1 crystal for the objective?

Yes, has been mentioned before (not sure if Kabam has it on radar to fix anytime soon).

Just open 1 at a time.
