10k unit deal

I bought the 10k unit deal yesterday, but I guess I didn't read too much into it. Is it retroactive? Like will I get the units from past levels when I get to the next milestone? Cuz none of the units from past levels have shown up

The 10k deal gives you units for levels 61-70, which nobody has yet hit

Yeah,..just gotta grind and wait a year and a half at least.
Any number or us could be dead by then,..from natural causes or the unknown.

But so sorry if i look at the dollar value in comparison to unit value that is obtained.
Special event cost (in units),..goes up, while low value in buying units stays the same.
Once upon a time buying an Odin actually meant something,…now it is but a drop in the bucket.
So what is 10k units in a year and a half going to be worth with Mcoc inflation taken into account?

Special events such as banquets have quadrupled in unit cost to clear.
I could list many more instances,..but regardless the overall value of a say an Odin has considerably depreciated in regards to the increase in overall unit increase to obtain max objectives.

In the banquet example they had added more milestones so it’s not really an equal comparison if you’re just looking at clearing it or getting everything on offer.

That's like saying the more stuff Amazon adds to their store, the less my money is worth. Kabam sells more stuff now than they did in the past, but the stuff itself tends to cost less over time.

If what you are trying to buy is "everything" then yes, "everything" costs more now. But "everything" is not a thing that costs more.

The fact that Kabam sells more things means there's more opportunities for people to spend more and get more. But that has zero impact on the value I get for what I spend. Looking strictly at what I spend, and what I get in return for what I spend, I think I get comparable relative value now as I have in the past. It most certainly hasn't dropped by a factor of two or four over time.

But that's just me. Most spenders do not buy everything: they did not do so before and do not do that now, not even when talking about individual events. Those players see little to no difference between buying some of the offers in the past, and buying some of the offers now: they just see the stuff they get, and for them the value for their dollar on a relative basis is probably the same or even higher when focused on special events. Meanwhile the whales who used to buy everything are probably still buying everything, and just getting more stuff. They also aren't seeing a drop in their value for their money in general, at least not specifically due to this type of change.

You have to find a very specific special case person, someone who used to spend 18k units to get everything but can't spend 36k to get everything, that might agree with this sense of having their units devalued. And even for them, this is an entirely subjective feeling, not an objective inflationary effect. Which is to say, even if you buy the notion that their units are worth less because they can no longer buy out an entire event, that feeling can only happen once. If the max units to buy out an event goes from 36k to 48k at some point in the future, that will have no effect on the "18k players" who already were priced out of being able to buy everything. They will have to settle for buying only some things and not everything, and those even higher purchases will not depreciate the value of their units.

On my alt account, I purchased a progression based crystal bundle, and I immediately got everything ide earned prior my level immediately upon purchase.. I for that reason bought the unit progression bundle, and got absolutely nothing.. so I'm pretty unhappy with the lack of clarity on this..

Because u was at that level u got all them crystals ur not level 70 so u wouldnt get all these thats how growth bundles work u reach level u get the reward

Even that is a certain level that u only get when u reach that level if ur not that level u dont get the reward till then
