Carina Challenge 10 year Tag

So, completed my 10th year anniversary tag run. Obviously Wong carried he’s really all you need aside a select few science champs for the mystics. This won’t be a full guide as there are plenty resources out there for these fights, just know how to play Wong.

Wong 7r2 awakened
Spider Ham 7r3
Photon 7r3 awakened
Adam warlock 6r6 sig 200
Wiccan 7r1

Titania -solo with Wong
Aarkus - just get lucky with baiting specials but you literally cannot die with Wong unless you get sp3ed. -solo with Wong

Omega sentinel- surprise solo with Adam. Just went for the sp3 fury first and after that played him regularly.

Air walker - solo with Wong

Captain Britain - solo with Wong

Wiccan- 1 revive with Photon. Watch out for the incinerate of course, straightforward.

Psycho Man- started with Adam, took off like 40% with him then switched to Wong. Annoying fight, be careful with the control thingies.

Took Apocalypse path because the trap node is extremely easy with awakened Wong. The indestructible gets nullified immediately and you get free Eldritch energy + MD.

Apocalypse- solo with Wong

Tigra - Solo with Wong

Hercules- probably possible to solo with Wong but that last 40% gets really annoying and the block damage gets to be a lot. - 2 revives with Wong

Captain Falcon - started with Adam finished with Wong. Wong can definitely solo it.

Dragon Man- Solo with spider ham. Just play hammy like it’s a battlegrounds match. Do need some AI luck but ham his taunts to help.

Captain IW: Solo with Wong. Cant nullify the indestructible buff for this fight, other than that simple Wong fight.

Nova: easy solo with Wong. The trap node combined with all the buffs nova has just made Wong feel immortal. Like an easier Vision Aarkus fight.

Grandmaster: Not gonna like I did forget how his phases worked but once I remembered it was two team revives and I was able to get it down. Of course use Wiccan for the third and fourth phases, especially the fourth.

This is the third challenge I have completed after the mutant one and the God/Culs worthy one. Imo this one was definitely not that bad at all. If you have a Wong, rank him to rank 2 or even the 6 star to ascended and you can get this down in at most 20 revives

I can r4 a 6* Adam but can a low sig r2 Knull, or an unduped Vox (from giveaway) handle the adam fights well? Heard Vox is a bit more stressful to play

Would a rank 2 RC immune help over a rank 1 for phase 4 of GM due to having more health (whether it be wiccan vs moondragon etc, as my wiccan will be unduped)

Also suicides helps speed up Wongs fight times (hes sustainable but slow compared to doing entire path with kates/aegon) , but idk how bad theyd be for GM

It may not be bad but definitely need to be confident in long fight with wong

Would you recommend Adam over other cosmic options? I only have him 6r5 ascended. But I do have Knull and Vox at r2 sig 60ish each.

I don’t really know much about Knull and Vox, but if you have a high ranked Adam absolutely bring him. He crushes omega sentinel. I don’t know if knull would do good for omega because she becomes armor break immune for that last 40% I think. My Adam was 6r5 ascended and I still solod Omega. He just does a lot of damage so if you wanna rush a fight instead of playing it safe with Wong, I’d personally go Adam over Vox and Knull but that’s who I just prefer to use more.

Probably the Sauron path? I wouldn’t go the right side as that side requires a lot more specific champs. If you’re Wong is awakened absolutely go the Apocalypse path after Sauron. Even if he’s unduped the indestructible still gives you free MD which is faster ramp. But yeah as you can see he is capable of soloing almost every fight on the Apoc path so that’s where I’d go.

The thing about the fourth phase of the GM, is you actually can’t die from the degen you receive from bringing a RC immune. So you could honestly bring a r4 six star and be fine. They just need to be immune. The degen does less and less damage based on your health. So at 1% the degen ticks for like 1 damage per second. Grandmaster sp2 also cannot kill you in the last phases so yeah. My 7r1 Wiccan did absolutely fine minus a few deaths from uncooperative AI. Yeah I’d definitely use suicides for this challenge since wong becomes an immortal beast after ramp and the fights take pretty long. I personally don’t even have suicides unlocked but was able to get it done still. I’d probably bring Vox instead of Adam since yours is only a r4. The only fight you really want Adam for is Omega anyways, Wong can handle the rest.
