2, 3, 4* Farming Arenas

I'm cross posting this from the Battlegrounds Store discussion as I think it's worth its own dedicated thread.

Some higher end players (myself included) have been working to rank up their lower level champions. The access to the necessary resources (Primarily T1 Alpha and T4 Basic, but also T2 Alpha, T3 Basic and T3 & 4 Class Cats) is inconsistent. The recent change to Battlegrounds store for higher level players further hamstrings things.

I think more consistent Arenas may be the way to go here.

I love the 2* arenas when they appear because I love getting the rarer 2* champs. What if there are regular milestone driven arenas (no rank rewards) that force the usage of our 2, 3 and 4* rosters to reasonably grind for T1 Alpha, T2 Alpha, T3 Basic/Class and T4 Basic/Class catalysts. There would need to be meaningful quantities of them available for the grind, perhaps on a weekly basis. Something like this could replace the weekly count that was otherwise in the Battlegrounds store and provide an excuse for Paragon and Valiant players to use their lower star level champions.

Some other things that could be included as milestone rewards here:

Rare champs 2* Crystals
2* - 4* Champion class or year selectors

just replace Sunday arenas entirely with this? by the time it’s reasonable for players to grind the Sunday arenas, they usually do not need the 5*/ 4*/ PHC shards.
keeps Sunday as a down day for most, and may actually increase traffic. PLUS, it shouldn’t really add much burden to the “unit budget”? official stance is “we ain’t changing arena because we would adjust it down and y’all would riot”, which is fair (from a design and economy perspective, personal opinions aside). Sunday areans really aren’t a large factor anyway, the milestones suck.
give us some fun low end stuff. throw the completionists a bone!

Okay but think about, the whole point of this game is to UPGRADE your collection. So it's reasonable that once you reach endgame you wanna start maxing our your collection which in the game current state is nearly impossible due to avaible resources and shards for valient players. Like how is it easier to get 4*s and 5*s over 2*s and 3*s, when they have no practical value

Part of the argument is to give those champs a bit of functional use. At a certain level have arenas for end game content that focuses on having a solid 2, 3 or 4* roster.

All of those things are viable options. As for the Sunday arena, they would absolutely see more engagement if the 2* crystals weren't the same champs that are in the PHCs. My 2* roster is missing more champs than 3-6*
