Which champs to prioritize for Paragon -> Valiant journey

I have recently became Paragon, and now pushing for Valiant. Can the community give me strategy/tips to prioritize upgrading specific champs for becoming Valiant? Please consider newer champs as well.

    Where are you in story content? I would recommend Mr. Sinister and Kate Bishop, they can smash through content. Show your roster.
