If you really think this after opening up the crystals yourself and watching other people open up the crystals. I don’t think any amount of objective logic and evidence will change your mind. I am not even a super endgame player and I’m overflowing on materials I already had.

When you can get higher amount of t6cc in the BG and rank up store for less units, these crystals are literally a scam for 300 units. It’s textbook filler

All they had to do is have a greater chance for meaningful hero crystal shards, instead of the absolutely ridiculously low amount of shards. It's already a low chance to get shards, so to then have such a low amount when you do, it's a kick in the nuts and the milestones don't compensate that.

No, the facts are clearly stated in the "How to Get Points" description ...You need to open/purchase Banquet Crystals to achieve the milestones therefore the BCs are the requirements the "Milestones" are the added incentive or as you stated the "...cherry on top", Oh yeah BTW enjoy your holiday season.

There are more shards available in other parts of the game at a cheaper cost. Meaning that with this lower amount, you are paying more for less materials.

The issue is the community has different definitions of filler than kabam does. For me and Kabam, 6* shards and anything that is solely 6* materials, is filler items. We fortunately don't have any of those in the crystal.

In no way am I saying the crystal is good though because it isn't and that is fine with me. I'm good paying the minimum amount needed to get the milestones without being tempted to spend more units.

You'd be lucky if you got even one 7 star and enough materials to take that 7-star to r2 from the number of SBCs needed to hit the milestones. That's less than what you would get by playing the game normally for a short period of time. The 31% drop rate class catalyst fragments should not be there, the drop rate for everything else could have been scaled up proportionally.

The milestones are a way to gate the rewards from larger part of the community. Not everyone is spending 15K units on the event. It isn't pay $1000 for a pizza slice and get a car, it's pay $1000 for a pizza slice and convince 200K others to buy the same pizza slice and we will throw you a pizza party.

when the event started i ignored the milestones, popped a bunch of SBCs and was shocked at how awful they were. then i calmed down, looked at the milestones, and slowly felt better.

we're mad at the way they approached the deal, not the deal itself. there's good value in the milestones and it's a shame more players don't see it or refuse to see it.
