This is the part Kabam doesn’t get… gambling with the RNG for something incredible is a huge part of the fun in previous years.

This “grand” idea sucked all that fun outta the event. Painful results like this are all too common. The SBCs are a trash crystal with all the excitement of opening of a generic creating card. And while the guaranteed rewards are nice the journey to get them is arguably one of the least enjoyable things we’ve been asked to do.

enough t4 alpha for 2 r3s...
3 7* glorious guardian champs (some who are very good)
7* glorious guardians awakening gem
70 7* glorious guardians sig stones

1-2 generic
bunch of necessary catalysts (t6c, t5c, t6b, t3a)

plus....2 more 7* basics and a 7* nexus

plus whatever you pulled from those SBCs, which is a cherry on top.

for 15k this is very solid. how much would just a 2-3 generic gem cost with units 5 weeks ago?

People banking on rewards not yet earned… I don’t get it. Sure if all the milestones come in it’s not a total wash but the spirit of the event has totally been lost with this pivot.

Opening Gifting/Banquet crystals used to be fun and exciting.

Even last year’s Crystal kept this spirit by giving us plenty of chances to spin for the limited pool.

This year there is no excitement at all. The YouTube content of SBCs is trash. Opening the crystal is trash. I have all the milestones and there’s 0 motivation to do more.

Previous years I’d grind units, I’d grab an Odin just for the fun of opening these crystals. The evidence is loud and overwhelming not too with SBCs. I have no interest. I did my part for the community, and now I have to hope enough people are as impulsive as I was at the start to push the realm event forward… but the slow down is real there… and the news about the SBCs is as well. It’s only gonna slow down more.

We were at 50% of the way there day one, 65% of the way there on day 2 and might get to 75% on day 3 but the trend is concerning as the rates keep dropping. And this is even after Kabam’s attempt to sweeten the chase… it’s not a Slam dunk we get all the Realm Event stuff.

if the SBCs were good the super whales would blow up the economy. kabam is making them fight over scraps of r4s without hurting the economy and the rest of us get very good stuff with the milestones. i get it, the SBCs are gross but that's the point. while we're missing out on the rush of popping crystals, we're still getting the good rewards.

That’s just not true. Sig stone acquisition, and shard acquisition could have been improved with no harm to the ecosystem as all the whales you are concerned about already have most champs awakened and at high sig anyways.

It was also a chance of non spenders to actually get lucky. Banquet was not supposed to be this controlled progression so people can play catch up.
They are gross, and if the whole idea was to stop whales from getting too much, then eliminate the rank rewatds. The rewards are ok, they are not even great to balance of what Banquet was about.
And congratulations you just showed me a pic of rewards an active Valiant can gather up from Glory, BG store and doing casual content... Yeah they are great rofl..

And the crystals could have been made enjoyable without destroying this precious ecosystem.

It seems you care more about whales being at their throats, which is something F2Ps probably would love... It seems you are extra happy cause they let you play catch up in a way... Sorry but the incentive to participate was the fun of opening the crystal in the past.

This event is structured in a way where people target a milestone open the bare minimum of trash crystals to get it and then mentally erase the experience of opening the boring SBC from their mind.

Ok Milestone Genius, care to explain something to me?... If this milestones are so great, explain to me why i spent over 20k units in past banquets and in 2023/2024 I decided to do the minimum to clear to milestones only?... Is it because I am satisfied with the milestones or because the crystals are trash and I rather not spend my units?
20k+ units in past years was not even whale level; but I spent them...now I'm sitting on 15K i don't even want to use...
Are you one of those F2P players that constantly complains about the gap between spenders and F2P and that's why you like this structure so much?
Maybe you should let everyone with a pitchfork do whatever they want, I mean there is not much people backing up Kabam on this one...
