WHAT SHOULD I DO? (BANQUET)

Welp, we all know how banquet turned out, I'm here seeking advice on what to do.
I have the necessary units to max out the realm milestones and have yet to spend on the SBC'S.
I was excited for the banquet but still was in no rush to buy everything out so I had no problem waiting for videos and hearing the community's thoughts first.

I'm also disappointed (who isn't) however, I had my full expectations cut TO THE BARE MINIMUM WHICH WERE all the milestone rewards and turns out I was correct as the SBC'S are absolutely horrendous and add barely any value to the entire banquet and are just a waste of units but they're needed to get the milestones.

Now I consider everything in the milestones as bonuses(the only thing eye catching are the 7star crystals and they aren't even much) but the ONLY thing I really want from this banquet is a 7STAR MEDUSA and we're most likely going to hit the awakening gem milestone in the banquet so she would already be set for me.

However it's not guaranteed. I only have 3 shots at a 7STAR MEDUSA and I really am not willing to spend $300 on Odin's.

This is me asking for the least. If I were to pull nothing good from those SBC'S but I were to get Medusa from that box I would BE ABSOLUTELY CONTEMPT and okay. Seeing as how the SBC'S are strictly terrible, If I were not to get anything "I CONSIDER" valuable from them and NOT get the ONLY thing I wanted from them I would be genuinely devastated and FEEL SCAMMED because I have wasted a years worth of accumulation and have nothing to show for it.
So basically I would feel the way 99% of the community does.
I tried waiting to see if kabam would change the SBC'S drop rates but they've said they cannot.

Now, what would y'all suggest I do,
should I flip the coin and risk my happiness for Medusa or proceed into 2025 empty handed

Ask random people on the internet might not be the way to.go. What everyone says "do it" & you miss? In this situation, this is a you question. Choice is yours & yours only. If you need an actual yes or no answer, I say yes. Why the F not? You might actually pull her. I want Medusa pretty bad, too. No risk, no reward...

Three shots at Medusa is basically a 50/50 chance to get her. Other than selectors, that is about the best odds you will ever get on a crystal.

But, as you said, it is a risk and we all have stories of the risks paying off and of them failing epically. So it’s really up to you to determine if you are comfortable with that level of risk/reward.

She was my top champ and I missed her in three chances.🙁 But, I consider the total value of everything I gained for the 15k units as worth it, so I was good with the choice.

It’s not worth it but I selfishly want others to contribute to the garbage realm event that stole rewards from the budget so I can get the full investment of my own 15k units I spent on this event.

So no hard feelings if you don’t as it’s not worth it if we don’t get all the milestones but thanks if you do

You can always wait till Tuesday. Nothing is stopping you from spending the units later. When Tuesday comes there may be a boom in points with whales splurging out on bundles and using the units from bundles to purchase more crystals maybe. Wait to see, no rush.

Yh, I have no problem waiting till then I just hope kabam doesn't hand out an IMPROMPTU care package ONLY for players who spent units cos then I'd be stuck with the trash SBC'S and I wouldn't receive anything.
I pray kabam tells us before they hand out any sort of compensation because I'm most likely going to risk it now.

I'll probably buy the crystals when we hit the 3rd key milestone in the realm event so I can just instantly try or when the Christmas deals are live like you said.

I doubt it. If they have any intentions of sending comp, my guess would be for them to send it out once they gather sufficient data on the overall communities engagement to event. And they still have Tuesdays to see how people get on once the unit bundles are introduced. Plus they may be banking on the christmas gift to resolve some unrest. But also any meaningful plan will most likely come after christmas holiday is up.

But like all things, we will never know what can happen. Just have to wait and see.
