Alliance Banquet Event Rewards not being given after 14 day timer passed

I'm a little confused, I joined an alliance 14 days ago, today, so starting today I am eligible to receive my banquet alliance rewards. Initially I thought that I should save all of my crystals until today so that my points would count towards the alliance, but I then saw a post and later confirmed that my points still counted before the 14 day timer was up, I just wouldn't be able to retrieve my rewards until the 14 day mark (today).

Lo and behold I log in today and I can't claim any rewards, so was I wrong?

It's worth noting that on the alliance banquet event tab it still says I have contributed enough points to claim the rewards, but there is neither a button to claim them or a confirmation saying I have already claimed them.

Help?

Update: I tried buying a banquet crystal to push an update to the event and I ended up getting all of the rewards, including the ones I contributed to before the 14 day timer concluded

You're not supposed to be able to contribute anything prior to your timer expiring. Not sure if it's a visual bug or just something not working as intended and they're not fixing it. But at the same time, it appears that some players have been able to unlock rewards after contributing more points once the timer has expired. Open one crystal and see what happens.

Glad everything worked out for you in the end, but why take the risk to begin with and not just wait till the timer ran out.
