Is Spiral more than a Serpent counter?

I know she’s great for that but at this point, it seems half my roster is a Serpent counter. Do any of you guys use her for anything else?

Yeah I would really like to know it. Is there any good videos to show her usage. The only one I found was trappy using her against WS which is not a great depiction imo.

I tried her and it is difficult to use her effectively there especially with her sp1 bug. I do hear high sig spiral is great for hazard shift though and she does have huge damage.

Oh I have this problem too, try to be smart swipe up middle combo, only to get smack in the face.

Was really excited about her but I can't seem to get her working as shown.

Also like @Pikolu said her SP1 is bug, so hard to know how affectivr she is.

I’ve been using it straight after a striker just to get the energy vulnerability before throwing sp2, takes any input misses out of the equation

Yea maybe I’ll just have to do that instead but it kinda sucks since that wastes almost a full combo

I feel like her dancing blades was oversold on the livestream and spotlight. Its not really a comboextender since it doesn’t seem like you can use it immediately after a combo like you can with America Chavez heavy stun. It seems like there has to be enough of a pause between the combo and the swipe up, that it ends up feeling like just starting a new combo.

She’s able to parry Hulking without worrying about his unblockable and indestructible, but… her playstyle doesn’t vibe well with his power gain due to all the hits she’s doing.

She can take Maestro, Gorr, maybe FAM and other buff matchups. Against no buffs she doesn’t feel as strong

That’s what I tried at first briefly and my success rate if I had to guess, when thinking about it, if I remember correctly, was probably somewhere around ~0%.

I’ll give it another try though lol. At least it apparently is possible to hit with 100% consistency

Honestly my favorite counter to Serpent, and the contest in general is America Chavez. If you hav her, focus on ranking her up.

Chavez is already r3 and as you rightly said she’s a terrific counter to serpent. But I want to know between spiral and shathra who’s the better counter or a champ for further ranking up. Can’t have enough serpent counters.

She's like a snowflake, keeps rolling, can do summersault i think. Those are additional benefits.
At the moment i m using Rintrah for Serpie though.
