I can assure you as an owner of a R3 sig 100 Dazzler she is better than Scream. And I like Scream a lot. Dazzler can take so many more meta defender fights outside of the skill class.

Pretty sure that scream can also take photon, onslaught, etc. Both are great but I need to see more from dazzler

I've played around some with mine, she's definitely a nuke with the SP2, and dashing into unblockable specials is great, but I don't know, this just would never have made it to my comic collection when I was a kid, and that's kind of why I play the game in the first place.

Her sp1 is bugged, if you throw it after you end a combo with your light, it whiffs and the AI blocks
The first hit of the special 1 has barely any range and needs to be looked at.

She can literally do EVERY match-up he can and with the more difficult ones better than he can. (Exc nick and some other specific fights)
He will take the cake during metas such as safeguard etc because he has direct damage. I'll give him that.

Dazzler is also insane in war, there are alot of nodes that she just cake walks and all that matters is just the defender placed on it where I think Deadpool will the stopped. Eg that nullify node that drains your power.

When it comes to questing, she takes the cake simply because xpool has nothing really going for him. He would have to play around everything whereas dazzler has mechanics in her base kit that can help her in certain scenarios such as the dazzler dash making her practically untouchable depending on how and when you use it she's also practically immune to rupture as far as you attack.
She also has unblockable specials (as shown in her attuma deep dive fights) once she has the sp2 she no longer needs to wait for a specific time to strike.

She also has stronger damage. Both 5/5 attackers but whatever xpool can't finish in one dmg rotation, dazzler pretty much can.

Finally, i have both so everything i just said, has been proof tested.
I'm not saying this to make it seem like what I think is superior (opinions vary).
I said this so you know everything i just said isn't based on speculation, I've actually used both.

Yh, form your opinion after educating yourself on the character because dazzler with an sp1 sp2 has more damage output than xpool with the same rotation. What are you even saying??
Deadpool can take out battleground health pools with one rotation so can dazzler.

If you took them both into ROL at rank 3 and did the same rotation dazzler would oneshot EVERY match except maybe vision (class disadvantage),wolverine (regen) and scarlet witch(power manipulation) while Deadpool would only oneshot WS and black panther due to class advantage.

Dazzler sure has some good utility and great damage, and is generally a better korg/attuma counter, but dpx damage is direct damage while dazzler does energy damage, so dpx takes out more champs than dazzler. Not to mention he has a easier playstyle.
