Would you say a 7* crystal is worth more or less than 1,000 units ?





150 shards for 10 units (and 1 t4b lol)

A 7* Crystal at 1,000 units takes 100 days

Was thinking getting this along maxing out rest of my 4* roster for arena

    A 7* is actually worth more than a 1,000 units. We can now take them to r4. This is a good deal.

    Nah. We just got 7*'s in late 2023. They've only been out for a little over year to a year and a half, plus they can be taken to rank 6 which requires more resources and time. We're not jumping to 8*'s anytime soon.

    Honestly, 7* crystals are pretty worthless for me. I have every 7* I want that's in the basic pool and am only missing a few of them at this point. I personally think the 7* shards economy got too saturated too quickly for valiants, but it is what it is. It has been awhile since I was excited to open a 7* crystal.

    I don't expect to see 8* rarity on the horizon until 7* R5 becomes a possibility, and I don't see that happening until 7* R4 becomes more commonplace. The *earliest* I expect to even *hear* about 8* rarity is around the end of the year.

    At the moment I have 121 unique 7* champs with 52 unowned according to the game filters (some of which are not in the basic crystal, of course). Six of those are trophy champs I do not own yet, and there's probably about another six or so that aren't in the basic crystal yet (but will eventually). So at the moment, a 7* crystal has a 75% chance to be sigs and a 25% chance to be a new champ for me.

    Sigs aren't all bad, and 25% chance is still something, but it places 7* basic crystals into the category of "nice to have" but not a pursuit reward for me personally. I won't chase after them, but I will gladly take them, because I need four on average for every new champ pull, and I am still fine with filling out my collection.

    I'm still ranking up 6s so I usually try to buy a T4B and get the 7 shards as a bonus. In combination it's a decent deal; I wouldn't spend 1000 units on a basic 7 crystal if there was no bonus involved.
