New AoA thoughts?

I personally think these nodes are worse than the previous AoA nodes. What are y’all’s thoughts?

I thought Cassie was a slog, Heimdall is really easy to burst down once you get the rhythm of the fight down

I personally like this AOA, I usually hate fighting heimdall, but this guy isn’t too bad. I just don’t have deathless she hulk so no dupe for me lol

It is a difficult fight, but you can definitely play around it. Beta Ray Bill and dragonman both crush the paragon objectives. I wish I knew about Bill before my runs with gamora to get the solo.

Just keep trying and feel free to ask for advice because this fight is very doable. Difficult, but doable.

I managed to solo every objective, but took me a few tries, here's how i did it with which character:
Imortal She hulk: just used sp3 without punishing the heavy attack

Dragon man: spam sp1, it's important to do a few hits when heindall is against the wall

Beta: start the fight with heavy attack, use your sp2 first and then just spam sp1, really easy fight

Mercenary: evade the first hit of the heavy, use a light and evade the rest, after that just use sp1 or sp2, there's not much you can do here

The fight isn't bad tbh but the heavy ai on Heimdall is atrocious

This is easy fight. No complex, Dex heavy first hit, punch once, Dex remaining. Dex sp1, throw your sp. That's it

The difficult part was learning to dex his heavy while rooted. The easiest punish is to hit him after his last heavy hit and immediately back up.

But if you just spam sp3, you'll only need to dex his heavy and not worry about the protection. The exception is Dragon Man where you can just spam sp1 since he basically removes the unstoppable.

I used DShulk, Gamora and Monkey just using sp3s. Fourth was Dragon Man using sp1s

Exactly this. Once the you get the heavy dex/tap timing down, its actually a really fun fight. Used a few reviews that were expiring,. Could have been solos, but I'm impatient

I just need to get that timing down and I think I’m good.

Node are fine - Ai is total BS which makes the fight BS
- I tried back off to bait special ,ai throws heavy
- I tried tap on block & backoff , ai throws heavy
- i dex one heavy , ai throw another heavy
- hiemdall auto blocks one hits ,ai instantly throws heavy

This is Normal ai ??

I really like Heimdall fight, the nodes are super friendly and fight was way more friendly than Cassie fight

This is pretty much normal Heimdall ai. It's just more noticable since you can't punish it

Well thought out nodes with three different avenues of defeating: 1) counter heavy 2) build to sp3 and 3) bring a slow champ (which doesn't work for all objectives but still doable)

The kind of AoA fight that I enjoy most. Takes some time to figure it out, but once you do, it becomes pretty enjoyable to deploy the knowledge in the subsequent fights.

On paper it looks really bad, but it’s a lot different when you’re actually fighting him.

I’m glad that Kabam but a lot of thought into the nodes this time.

There has been a couple times when after I interrupt his heavy, that heimdall glitches and blocks the whole time.

Easy for Mystic and Cosmic objectives , and a bit harder for Skill objective for me.

For me the skill is a lot easier than the mystic or cosmic.
