If you didn't play but you have the title, either you are lying about not playing, you have been hacked (which is the slimmest chance ever for several reasons), or you gave your account to somebody. Have you changed phones since then? If you gave someone your old phone, and didn't wipe all the data from it, they can log into your account

I’m not lying about not playing. I haven’t played the game in years like I said, but the possibility I’ve downloaded it again to check it out isn’t outside the realm of possibility. My old phones usually go to my mum and I do wipe them so would be fine on that front
We can't really do anything for you here besides try and help you deduce when and why you were banned, just a heads up. I'm not gonna accuse you of anything, but I made my account in year two of the game and went inactive until November of last year - inactivity doesn't result in account closure. If it did, mine would be gone.

Some activity on your end triggered the ban... There's no real way around that unless you think someone accessed your account without your permission.

You need to open a crystal in order to participate in the realm event and then claim the rare title
How do you do that when you claim you never played for a couple of years
When Kabam says third party software used, they are usually 100% confident

I don’t consider logging in briefly as actively playing the game again. Honestly, I don’t recall logging in at all over the last couple of years. But it doesn’t mean that it I wasn’t bored one day and re-downloaded the game before ultimately deciding to not play it. That doesn’t change my situation at all though.
You need to be sure of the last time you logged into the game, seems like you could be a bit forgetful, can you say with 100% certainty that you haven’t logged in?

Have you used any vps ?
I do use a vpn, but never done so for any games

I don't use vpns but I am guessing you made mcoc think you were 500 miles away and then when it turned of they thought you travelled 500 miles in 10 mins. The system would assume you gave your account to someone else either for alliance stuff or for mercing

It doesn't change the situation, but it does change your story. You said in your initial post that you believe the only possible cause in your mind for the ban was account inactivity to save server space. Logging in is activity, which you have done recently.
That’s all I could think of yes, because the last time I remember playing was years ago. There is no change in my story at all.

I rather bet on Kabam being right about Third Party Software usage........

Can you share actual communication from support? Because your screenshot just shows that you submitted a ticket and that really doesn't mean anything. And can you show a screenshot of the ban message that pops up when you try to login?

Dude your story is changing faster than my cosmic ghost rider's rotations
It’s not though is it? My story hasn’t changed at all, I haven’t played the game in years. Nor do I recall logging in at any point. But as I said to Kabam, it’s not impossible that in the space of those years I maybe briefly downloaded the game. But I do know I didn’t download it within the last 3 months…

So then we have to conclude one of two things:

    1. You're lying

    2. Someone accessed your account without your permission.

2 seems unlikely, sorry to say.

No. Using VPN in any capacity will not get you banned
    Good to know 🙂

Sure. The only thing thats different is I thought at first I’d been inactive for a lot longer than two years. And when I added up the payments on Apple, it was more than I thought at first glance.

Here’s the initial conversation, before they persisted with repeating the same message.

Can you explain why you would have logged in 3 months ago ?

If you know it wasn’t you, then you were hacked. I recommend checking your passwords and quick question, do you use a similar password for everything? Or maybe the same password ? If so, someone could have stolen your account.

Sorry to say that they aren't going to change their minds on this one. Sounds pretty final to me.

I can quite confidently say I haven’t logged in these past 3 months. But even if I had, it wouldn’t mean cheating. I also don’t see why someone would hack an old account just to cheat when they would have an easier time making a new account to cheat with. I did have the habit of repeating passwords but I’ve gotten a lot better at not doing that these days.

If someone had the capability of hacking an account in this game, they would not choose this account. 999 times out of 1000, an account is accessed by someone else because the information was given, not because it was taken. So if someone else logged into the account 3 months ago, it's not because it was hacked.
I’ve said something to a similar effect already, as I agree hacking this account wouldn’t be of interest to anyone. But I also haven’t given anyone my account details.

And therefore the only possibility is that you logged into your account, opened a crystal and claimed a reward sometime during the crystal cleanse event a few months ago. That doesn't inherently mean you did anything wrong during that time, but the account was fine 3 months ago and isn't now, so something happened in between.

Vpns do not trigger bans, have been confirmed by miike many times.

My guess is OP is an Android phone user who has some malware in his phone that is interfering with every app he use
Kabam probably detected some malware and concluded he cheated
You should check the phone you used to login mcoc recently
    The phone maybe compromised

No, I was asked for screenshots of the support chat and the login page. However, since the support chat clarified the code and detailed the same reason I didn’t see it necessary to give both. But here you go

Then let's summon a more famous Petyr.

    I choose you, @Bendy
And if that doesn't work, I'm sure someone from the Kabam community team will be on sometime this month, or maybe Crashed will bless us on lunch break.

    The decision is final
What more do everyone want from this drama forum post thread in 2025?

In your OP, you said you were banned for use of 3rd party software. In your screenshots, the response from support says you were banned for cheating.

My question would be that are you playing on a device that doesn't support apple or google play app stores? Or, instead of downloading from a store, did you download an APK file from a random source.

Is there a reason you won't show us a screenshot of the ban message in game?

You have been polite and everything and well spoken but the last person that was saying this, hired a merc and was cheating in Necropolis after saying many, many times they weren't.
I didn’t realise it was for cheating at first, as the login message only mentioned TPS so I assumed that meant use of an emulator. There’s no reason I wasn’t providing the screenshot of the login page other than I didn’t think I needed to when I provided the support conversation that detailed the reason for ban.
