Rank up material from sbc

Should Kabam make it to where the rank up rewards from banquet wont expire? Got a lot of rank up material for 7* champs. But didn't really get any champs to rank up. So all of that rank up material, units/money spent, will either expire or be used on champs that I do not want to rank up and will never use.
