Rebalanced Northstar is Critically Bugged

After the update, Northstar does no reverb damage. His red numbers are just fully gone. Obviously a bug (no silent nerf talk here), but in his current state he’s fully useless. Hopefully this can be rectified quickly.

    No they have updated kits with northstar having max 6 momentum instead of 10 also prowess potency increased from 9% to 12% and max stacks decreased from 40 to 30

    His update went live. Momentum is capped at six instead of ten and his stun functionality has been removed, which is what Kabam said they were gonna do. I don’t know Arcade’s kit as well, so I can’t speak to that, but Northstar has definitely been changed.

    Northstar is actually nerfed his stun is gone, his slow is now of lesser duration, he gains less prowess per special. Nothing they did to him seems meaningful.

    He gains less prowess but they are off higher potency. The stun was overpowered.

    At max ramp he was already very strong, they made it so that you reach that ramp much quicker. It's a great buff beyond the current reverb bug

    I’m withholding any judgment until the reverb bug is addressed. Did the slow off the sp1 get shortened as a result of the drop in momentum cap?

    Yes his slow is shortened, his reinforce is shortened, his speed burst takes longer to come back. His prowess maintenance is more difficult now.

    That’s because of the bug that is the subject of this thread. His red numbers are gone for the moment, so any testing will be wrong.
    What? I didn’t notice that actually. What a way to buff a champ, release him bugged. So what now we should wait for one more month for them to fix it?

    His pauses are also not working as intended and are not pausing properly on critical hits.

    It depends how hard the bug is to fix. If it is as simple as metaphorically flipping a switch they will fix it ASAP, but if they have to rewrite all of his code or smth next month likely

    Yeah, there are certain kinds of changes that can be done via hotfix (meaning no update on our end necessary), and others that require an update. Hopefully this one can be hotfixed.

    If it's game breaking, like that prowler bug that allowed a 3* to solo necro fights, it'll get fixed soon. Simple ones are fixed on monthly patches

    this time there are a lot more bugs than usual

    they need to patch it before new content drops ( but i doubt this will happen )
