Is Prowler good?

I got Prowler a few months ago and duped him recently, does he need high sig or just awakening?

Oof big yikes. I guess I'll enjoy my 6* Prowler for the time being and invest sigs in him. Don't even have him as a 7* but that makes me know not to invest too much resources into him for now if I ever do get him.

Mine's r3 sig 200 and he's great. Not as insane of a nuke as Juggs, but he's got tons of utility and damage. Super cool and fun

I have mine 7* r3 and he is unduped. Still a monster. No regrets taking him up.

I use him 7* r2 unduped and he's still really good. I don't have the 6* ranked for direct comparison at sig 200 but he's good either way.

I'll cut the formalities and tell you what they don't.

His damage is really not that good unduped or low sig. It's one of the better ones we got at the first half of the year 2024 tho but I wouldn't call it good. Maybe "decent" is the best term.

And at sig 200 it's when he hits like a 4/5 damage dealer.
200 sigs for that is NOT WORTH IT when you could get someone for 4x less the cost with the same or better and more consistent damage.

I made the mistake of r3ing unduped and I recently got him duped and can't really tell a consistent difference.
I barely ever use him because I don't ever need him as shocker and guardian finish off domino wayy faster than he does so and that was really what I needed a tech champion for in my deck.

I was thinking about investing into him as I got him duped recently but after some testing, I really am still not impressed and I do not see any potential in him or any reason I would pick him over shocker who I also have at equal rank. He has some occasionally useful utility tho.

I "PERSONALLY" will only invest sigs in a champion for some extra sort of IMPORTANT utility or if I can see a massive difference between unduped and duped (DMG wise). If I see some impressive stuff I may want more and be compelled to invest sigs. Sig 20 prowler does not justify sig 200 because I can not FEEL the difference in damage is between unduped and duped and therefore I do not feel like he can give me more. (I don't know if you understand where I'm coming at).

I've learned to test champions out first before making decisions and not just going off of what YouTubers advertise because it was the same prowler glaze that got me to r3 him unduped without prior testing and now I regret it.

That being said, because prowlers sig scales so badly, we do not get a tease of what our damage can be like at max sig so you either have to go ALL out of YOU DON'T. This is bad because you may decide to sig 200 prowler without knowing what to expect and find him a bit below what you were expecting and in the end regret it. So it's kind of a blind risk and there aren't a lot of videos showing a r3 sig 200 prowler on YT

He is good. I have him R3 sig 23 and he does fine. I also have a 6* R5 ascended.

The damage difference I feel is not what people are ranking him up for.

I use to be a master player in Mcoc and now I am semi retired in a gold 10 alliance. I focus on questing and really enjoy prowler for how easy he is.

From what I remember, if you are in high tier wars your biggest goal is going to find the best champ for the job not necessarily the quickest.

He is incinerate immune, bleed immune, falter immune , and a true strike on mediums and drains 100% of power after every specials, last but not least has a passive DOT!

Seems like you have a high chance of not dying. I like to not die.

This is a very subjective and biased take, you are disregarding the entire champion because of one piece of his kit? What about all of his utility and the Unblockable you unlock on his special attack?

You are not even considering the fact that he can put so many more hits on the opponent which reduces his TTK as well.

I shared some of what makes him so good in my post, he has good immunities and good power control. He’s a really good attacker in general and worth the stones easily

You’re always slandering him for no reason lmao. He’s really good at high sig and he’s worth the stones because he’s a fast and reliable attacker. My sig 200 can kill a class disadvantage fight in 42 seconds (550k health) which is really impressive. Even without the incinerate I can easily do 50-55 seconds for the same amount of health

Really fast domino counter too, one sp2 and it’s over for her. Yes you do want sig 200 as I said but saying he’s not worth it is incredibly wrong imo. Lots of usage for him, his damage comes from passives and he hits hard without the incinerate, and he has really good utility that shocker and guardian don’t have

And you said you can’t feel the difference between and unduped and sig 20 and that’s cause aside from unblockable your crit rate isn’t that high at that sig, it’s barely a difference. At sig 200 that difference is massive and you’re getting the massive damage bump 99% of the time

He says it’s objective as if his take is gospel or something, he’s been hating prowler since day 1 and hasn’t even played him at higher sigs and acts like the investment isn’t worth it

Had him at about sig 80 6r4a for a while and I've never felt he was low damage. Haven't experienced playing a max sig version but he still does absolute work for me in bgs and story content

He’s really good. But I think people are now forcing him into a bracket he’s not in.

High utility in tech class match ups. And good overall damage.

And I don’t like his colour scheme.
