Sentinel has lost defense tactic

Og sentinel has the badge as a saga champion, but has lost the defense tactic tag. So if placed on aw defense now it wont trigger defense tactic. Since it previously had the tag and it got the deathless saga badge, I believe this is in fact a bug. I would like to know whether or not the champion's tag will be restored for aw purposes.

    Pretty sure that the defense tactic for season 55 is sugar pill. If I'm correct, then it's not a bug, he just isn't a sugar pill defender.

    I think he's mainly marked as a saga champion so people could use him in the tech aw showcase thing. I've already used my r3 a bit in there and he's amazing for it.

    This is correct. Sugar Pill is the AW tactic and is not the same as champs marked saga

    But sentinel was sugar pill last aw season! Lost the tag after the update

    Deathless saga champs are champs with sugar pill or decay tag. Deathless champs (vision, thanos, guillotine, king groot, shehulk) got both tags. Check the tags in game and you will see. Only exception is sentinel because sentinel has deathless tag but it doesnt have sugar pill tag. But it did have sugar pill before the latest update.

    Furthermore, for the tech aw showcase you need tech champs with secutor or provocateur tag. Deathless tag has nothing to do with it. Sentinel is viable because it also has secutor tag. Sentinel was tactic attacker in secutor/provocateur meta. And tactic defender in sugar pill/decay meta. But it lost sugar pill tag
