    Must be a generational thing. I get the part of having a crush on a fictional character. I had a crush on the pink power ranger growing up, but she was real, not pixels on a screen or a drawing in a comic.

    Literally everyone I know had crushes. But again, crushes for fictional characters played by real people- Kelly Kapowski, Buffy, Brenda Walsh, CJ and Lani McKenzie, Nadia, Sarah Reeves Merrin to name but a few.

    Yeah must be, I think it’s mostly gen Z now? But it’s pretty common on the internet, honestly I’m surprised you haven’t come across it more lol. Just go to any black cat related animated video or marvel rivals and you’ll find plenty of people like that 😭
