The game experienced a brief connectivity issue this morning. The team promptly fixed the issue and things are back to normal, thank you to everyone who passed along reports!
How long does it take to find out if I got into the CCP?
It usually takes a very long time. It took longer than 6 months for me.
Thanks, Slayer I’ll keep making vids and I’ll wait for a bit
Whats ur channel I might get my friends to sub
Toproller mcoc on youtube. Maybe they are right though, I might not good enough to get in, I don't have many subs
6 sub not going to make them consider you if that’s your obvious can’t know if it you
Requirements listed on the CCP app are 10k monthly views and 500 subs. Not sure if that’s current requirements but yeah it’s a ways off from 6 subs.
Wow that’s a lot, must have skimmed over that bit, I’ll get there though.
But why send 5 applications over 6 months before even reading the requirements?
Yeah. I agree with this. I also took a look at your channel, @Toproller89, and I'm not seeing anything that shows why you should be part of the program, to be a bit blunt. I see very little editing, no facecam or voiceover present. It's all just game footage that anyone could record and post. Definitely take a look at what other creators do and see what kind of inspiration you can take to make your content *yours*.
There is a certain level of commitment they expect and it looks like you're still learning the ropes. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, but it's better to set your expectations now.
Thanks for the honesty there Slayer, I will aspire to do better
I suspect something Slayer certainly noticed but perhaps didn't think to say directly is your videos do not appear to have a point of view. When you just record game footage and add a title to it, there's no you in there. Some creators use facecams and deliver commentary to camera, some might just do voiceovers, and some even just do text captioning. But they have a voice, they have a point of view, they have something to say.
Having something to say is what will attract an audience, and in return your audience will help guide you towards the kinds of content that will hold their attention. What Kabam wants in CCP members are people with a voice, and an audience that in effect validates that that voice is a voice that represents some fraction of the playerbase.
If I had to summarize your voice from your videos, it would be: check this out. That's not you. Probably the hardest thing I think all the good content creators have had to do is take that leap of faith and do what most people never do: stick their neck out and say what they think, no matter what anything else thinks. It doesn't have to be critical, it doesn't have to be editorial, but every content creator out there with any sort of following has those things that are uniquely them, that they will stick to whether people like it or not, that they leverage into an identity that is no one elses. That's why we watch them.
I have sent in about 5 applications over 6 months but I have never heard back from Kabam, are they even recruiting anymore?
I think the way they handle CCP applications is like when you send your resume to a company for consideration. They don't usually send rejections, unless they are actually rejecting you. They sometimes just place you into a file and periodically review it when they decide to add new people to the program. So the fact you didn't hear back probably means you were not accepted, but it also means you were not outright rejected either.
As TA professional, that what I say when I don't have final review from panel for the candidate 🤣🤣🤣

I was very close to (atleast)applying for CCP last month I got 94 subs from the last month which put me to 394 subs and my video views last month was above 10k but sadly my college exams came so I choose study over youtube and I am back to normal views again It needs dedication to join CCP beta with regular posting videos with quality content. But the only thing I would steal from CCP is the test map atleast the old one should become permanent for everyone above paragon so it can help in making more content this is just my thoughts
