Who is the better defender?

Maestro or Deathless Thanos? On attack, definitely Thanos (though Maestro’s an underrated attacker) but how about defense?

Debatable, if you don’t have a good counter, you might lose the match due to glancing

Deathless Thanos seems pretty easy and straight forward as a defender. Only played him once in BG but piggy handled him easily. DT doesn't seem to have many defensive tricks

Does maestro dupe make a big difference on defense? Since he gets more neutronium, so glancing comes quicker?

Yes plus he also gets block penetration per neutronium, combine that with pierce and you will take chip damage

I've fought hundreds of maestro.
I haven't fought any Thanos yet.

Deathless thanos just because he is newer, he is catching people who don’t know how to fight him yet. Most annoying part of his defensive kit is his unstoppable which slows you down, the sp2 can also catch some people. Once people learn how to fight him I think maestro might be the better defender just due to the unavoidable radiation damage you take during long fights.

Saying maestro is an awful defender is crazy. I think shang is an awful defender and maestros on the other end of the spectrum.

I think it’s a little early for this question. We will find out soon tho but I think maestro will be a more difficult defender. We shall see

I didnt fought any D.T. yet, so I cant say.

But Maestro, yes. And its really hard to fight against on BG as defender.
